“Glory Be” is the short Trinitarian praise known as the Gloria Patri, widely used in Catholic liturgy and devotional prayer. It functions pastorally as a quick act of adoration and as a way to bring daily prayer back to the Triune God.
Peace & charity. The doxology glorifies the Triune God and is typically prayed as a brief act of reverence that renews interior calm and trust in God’s rule.
Trust & surrender. By praising the Father through the Son in the Holy Spirit “forever,” it trains the heart to rest in God’s faithfulness.
Part of the Rosary — a meditation on the life of Christ through the eyes of His Mother.
