O my God, relying on Thy almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins.

and infinite mercy and promises,
I hope to obtain pardon of my sins,
the help of Thy grace,
and life everlasting,
through the merits of Jesus Christ,
my Lord and Redeemer.
