The Act of Hope directly asks for pardon, the help of grace, and eternal life, grounded in God’s mercy and Christ’s merits. Pastoral use is especially strong when a person feels weighed down by sin or anxiety.
Trust & surrender. An Act of Hope relies on God’s mercy and promises, trusting that grace and forgiveness are truly available through Christ.
Peace & charity. Hope sustains interior stability, countering despair and calming fear by directing the heart toward life everlasting.
